During the holiday season, many senior citizens are alone and cannot afford to prepare a holiday meal for themselves.. Now in its 6th year, the Alpha Starz INC, Thanksgiving Dinner continues to provide senior citizens a place to enjoy a hot and nutritious turkey dinner with all the trimmings before Thanksgiving. Held at the  Legends Center Northeast Jacksonville, FL , the event invites seniors to dine at a “community dinner table”, celebrate the holiday with their peers, and enjoy music and entertainment. The Dinner currently serves over 200 seniors and has grown to be one of the largest Thanksgiving benefits in the City. Committee Members assist project management with the coordination of food preparation and service, beverages, decorations, event-day volunteers, entertainment, and clean-up.
